Whey protein is derived from whey and contains little fat or sugar. It is naturally rich in amino acids (BCAAs), so promotes muscle growth. Isolate is also derived from whey, but is more highly filtered and contains even less fat and lactose.
Hydrolyzed whey is considered to be the purest, as the hydrolysis process breaks down proteins into di- or tripeptides, thus promoting amino acid utilization. The result is optimal protein concentration and rapid assimilation.
